The passage function is non-locking for general use. It is used on most interior doors when privacy is not a concern. Sold as a complete set with 2 knobs, 2 rosettes, a 2 3/8" backset (2 3/4" backset available) passage latch, strike, and screws.
Privacy:
This locking function features a push-button lock on the rosette for bedroom and bathroom privacy. It can be unlocked from the outside in case of emergency. Sold as a complete set with 2 knobs, 2 rosettes, a 2 3/8" backset (2 3/4" backset available) privacy latch, strike, and screws.
Dummy Function:
A non-latching pair of doorknobs and rosettes for use on non-latching doors, and require no door prep. They may be mounted anywhere on the door you choose, but they are usually located to match the appearance of nearby operating locks.
